What customers say?

“ I have been here 3-4 times and it hits every time. Super cozy, small, and so so so comforting. Especially on a Cold day. The pozole rojo made me want to cry how comforting and delicious it was. Huge portion with all the fixings. The tamales I took to go (chicken and pork) were also super delicious, moist, flavorful— all without being overwhelmingly fatty or greasy or salty. The service is friendly and sweet. I am an Asian girl and I still felt so at home here. Parking is limited in a mall next to 7-11, but worth the patience. ”

“ Tried the chilaquiles and the food was very good. I would just say the steak was cooked very well just needed seasoning. Didn’t taste like they added anything. But the service was great. I would definitely eat here again. ”

“ The restaurant owners are the epitome of GREAT customer service. I think that if you squeeze her arm, nothing but love and joy would ooze out! So it begs the exclamation that this lil hole in the wall is a must. No matter what you order, I am certain it will be made with lots of love and joy and taste delicious to boot. ((We ordered tamales and buñelos to go. While waiting-because it was very last minute- we were offered champurado and tacos de birria)) Update: the tamales were a big hit. Everyone loved them, especially the carne molida ones. Typical of San Luis Potosi ~ GRACIAS ”

“ It was a wet, winter day after what seemed like 100 days of straight rain and we ventured out to find something new. We opened the door and saw a small dining area and got blasted with the smell of delicious things waiting. I had an al pastor burrito and carne asada taco while the lady had a couple gorditas, one carne asada and the other chicken. Everything was amazing and I am positive we will be back. Hopefully soon. ”

“ Very delicious! I had the albondigas soup and a chicken quesadilla (and a small side of guacamole). Albondigas and quesadilla were huge! The soup had corn, carrots, potatoes, zucchini, cabbage and came with a side of rice and tortillas. The quesadilla was really good also. ”

“ Food and service is a 5 star I love their green salsa too ”

“ Great food. Great people. Good prices. Family run place with only a few tables and small parking lot (shared with 7-11 next door). Staff very helpful. Food was hit, fresh and delicious. Enough said. ”

“ I’m a big believer of flavor when it comes to Mexican food. Today I had Al Pastor burrito and it was excellent. I made some changes and asked for frijoles del olla instead of refried, pastor, no rice, cilantro and onions. First, the flour tortilla was so soft and the pastor very flavorful. I asked for green Chile on the side. That was excellent too.Not spicy at all but packed flavor. I’m definitely going back. ”
